How Does It Work?
Donations fund efforts to combat climate change in our state. The primary focus of our organization is reforestations projects to offset the annual carbon footprint of a Mississippian with every acre we plant. This is accomplished through partnerships with landowners, farmers, corporations, and through private land acquisition to provide land to plant indigenous trees that are highly carbon capturing. A portion of funds donated will return to the donor's region in the form of beautification projects with climate capturing trees, shrubs, and plants. These projects help combat the carbon footprint of the region but also provide a place for the public to enjoy nature and reflect on the results of their donations. Mississippi has a need and our organization means to fill it. There is a place for you to make your mark as well; as an individual donor, a corporation committed to becoming carbon neutral, or another initiative wishing to make an environmental impact in your state.
